Day 1st - Dec 23rd
Your arrival to the Krakow airport where you are welcomed by our local guide-driver. Transfer to centrally located hotel in Krakow. Check in and time torelax. An evening possible visit to the Krakow Christmas Market located in the heart of the Old Town of Krakow. It is a good time to taste local Polish cuisine and buy hand-made Christmas gifts. Night at hotel.

Day 2nd – Dec 24th
Breakfast and at morning starts your private half-day tour of Krakow with a local guide, including the Old Town, Wawel Castle. Afternoon and evening time to relax. Traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner (Wieczerza Wigilijna) served at your hotel restaurant. Later that evening possible participation in the “Watchnight service” at the St. Mary Basilica in Krakow. You may also find a nice gift at your room later in the night. Night at hotel.

Day 3rd – Dec 25th Christmas
Breakfast at hotel and day on your own. We suggest a visit at the Christmas Market, local churches where you can hear a concert of Christmas carol singers. Most if the attractions on that day in Poland are closed so we suggest to take walks along the Old Town streets to fee the Christmas atmosphere. Night at hotel in Krakow.

Day 4th – Dec 27th
Breakfast and departure for your visit to nearby Wieliczka, famous for the Wieliczka Salt Mine (at UNESCO heritage site). Guided tour with a local guide. Return to Krakow center at early afternoon hours or an optional tour to Czestochowa to visit the Black Madonna Sanctuary. Your private visit to the sanctuary area with a local guide-monk (USD 55/person). Return to Krakow at afternoon time, night at hotel in Krakow.

Day 5th – Dec 28th
Breakfast and morning departure for a your whole day trip to Zakopane – called the “Poland’s winter capital”, where we will see some examples of the unique 19th and early 20th century wooden architecture of the Zakopane region. A cable car ride up to Mount Gubalowka to see marvelous panorama of the Tatra Mountains. Some time for your to visit local market with hand-made gifts and lunch at regional inn with regional best dishes. Return to Krakow at late afternoon time. Night at hotel in Krakow.

Day 6th – Dec 29th
Breakfast and transfer by our guide-driver to the Krakow’s airport for your return flight.

Perfect Poland

Our eight day trip thru Poland was outstanding! We covered north to south and 1000 years of the Polish and Jewish experience. Our tour, with stops and sites suggested by Tomasz was outstanding and we would recommend his services and GPF Tours highly. The guides were friendly, on time , knowledgeable and respectful of being with 4 seniors who had to slow down occasionally. The tour suggestions were excellent as well. We saw everything we had hoped to see plus extra, thanks to enthusiastic guides who even recommended restaurants and made suggestions as to what to eat! Drivers were also excellent with comfortable, air conditioned vehicles.

The travel company and it's manager Tomasz are tremendous! WE had an 11 day tour by rail and all the tour guides we had were not only on time but very knowledgeable and personal. Four days into the trip, my wife became seriously injured and we had to return home. Tomasz and his guide in Gdansk were very helpful to get us to airport and Tomasz worked with us on offering credit for the remainder of the trip if we wanted to return when my wife got better. My wife' injury had nothing to do with the tour location, individuals or anything else. She had a brain issue and heart issue and fell.
