Day 1st – Arrival to Gdansk, Poland
Your arrival in Gdansk airport. Transfer by our guide-driver to the hotel in Gdansk center. Later on meet our tour guide at the hotel lobby for an evening stroll through the Old Town and welcome dinner in the selected restaurant for dinner to taste selected dishes from the Baltic seaside area. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 2nd – Gdansk Half-day Tour with Food tour
Breakfast, and at morning starts your half-day guided Food tour of Gdansk. Visiting the Old Town with Golden Gateway, Neptune’s Fountain, the Artus Court, the Uphagen House and Dluga Street, the wooden Crane on the River Motlava you will taste also some Polish specialty like żurek (sour soup), Polish sausage and will tastes also famous Gdansk vodka – Goldwasser. Later that day time for your private visits to selected Gdansk Museums like Amber Museum, WW II Museum, Solidarity Museum. Dinner on your own today with our local guide suggestions. An overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 3rd - Visit Torun and ride to Warsaw
Breakfast and check out from your rooms. Departure to Central Poland. On your way stop in Torun – famous as Copernicus's city. Your guided tour includes a visit to the house of Nicolas Copernicus, the Town Hall, St. Mary’s church. Next, your visit at the Torun Gingerbread museum where you take a part if short presentation and Gingerbread Workshop. Later that day, continue your ride to Warsaw, where you come at early evening time . Check in at yours hotel. Time for dinner with our guide. Night at a hotel in Warsaw.
Day 4th – Half Day Warsaw City Tour and Pierogis Culinary Workshop
Breakfast at hotel. Next, starts your half-day guided tour of Warsaw, including all of the most important places in the Polish capital: the Old Town with the Royal Castle, The Royal Route and “Łazienki” – the Royal Park. Later that day time for your Pierogis (Dumplings) Culinary workshop with our local specialist. At the end of this workshop, you will be able to eat the dumplings you have cooked yourself. Dinner on your own. Night at a hotel in Warsaw.
Day 5th – Free Day in Warsaw
Breakfast at hotel, an extra day in Warsaw. Whole day is dedicated to visiting Warsaw according to your decisions. We may suggest a visit to the Warsaw Uprising Museum or Polin (Jewish history) Museum or any other according to our guide suggestions. Possible an extra tour with our local guide in your request* (Polish vodka tour). Time to relax and dinner on your own today. Night at a hotel in Warsaw.
Day 6th – Black Madonna in Czestochowa and Trail of the Eagle’s Nest on the way to Krakow.
Breakfast and check out from your hotel. Departure South to Krakow. On your way, break in Czestochowa to visit the most famous Polish sanctuary with Black Madonna Icon. Guided tour of the sanctuary. Next, discover the dramatic landscapes and 14th-century castles of the Trail of the Eagles’ Nests, a historic touring route that runs through southwestern Poland from Krakow to Częstochowa. Next, you continue your travel by minibus and visit the most beautiful one of the 25 medieval palaces and fortresses along the route, named ‘Eagles’ Nests’ because of their construction perched atop limestone cliffs. Your visit to the Ogrodzieniec castle with local, castle guide. Break for coffee / tea and your choice of sweet treat from among the most popular Polish desserts, such as doughnuts, sweet rolls, or pancakes. Continue your ride to Krakow. Just before entering Krakow, you will also pass through the famous Ojcow National Park, which is the end of the Eagle's Nest Trail. From the windows of the coach you will see the beautiful landscapes formed in the Jurassic era and the castle in Pieskowa Skala - one of the most beautiful on this Route. Upon arrival to Krakow check in at your hotel and time for your dinner (on your own with our guide suggestions) and relaxation. Night at a hotel in Krakow.
Day 7th - Half Day Krakow Food Tour – Wieliczka Salt Mine
Breakfast, and at morning starts your half-day guided Food tour of Krakow. Besides visiting the most important places on the Krakow Old Town and Wawel Hill with its Royal Castle and Cathedral you will be able to taste other Polish culinary specialties such as: zapiekanki (toasted sandwiches), potato pancakes with pork goulash, pancakes, cherry liqueur, and other beverages according to the participants' preferences (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Later that afternoon visit to the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine – listed at the UNESCO World Heritage List. Later that day you will be invited for Polish Folk Show with 3-course regional dinner in Krakow legendary restaurant. Night at hotel in Krakow.
Day 8th – Zakopane and Tatra Mountains Day Trip
Breakfast at hotel. Full day visit to Zakopane in The Tatra mountains, called “winter capital of Poland” Your tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel at early morning. Upon arrival to Zakopane a short city tour with local guide, a Highlander who tell you a lot about that place, history and will reveal many secrets. Your tour includes also ride the Mt. Gubałówka funicular, stroll along Krupowki Street and visit at the local market with hand made products. Some free time for lunch/shopping before your visit to the local traditional Shepherd's hut, where you will be able to taste local cheese (Oscypek) and some other products made by Highlanders in that region. Later that afternoon return ride to hotel in Krakow, where you come at early evening time. Time for your dinner (on your own) and night at hotel in Krakow.
Day 9th – Auschwitz - Birkenau Visit - Krakow extra tours on request
Breakfast and departure for your tour to Oswiecim where you visit the Nazi Concentration Camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, the infamous death factory. Today, a Museum, it is a silent witness to human tragedy. Your tour with a local museum guide (*that tour may be exchanged with a visit to the Schindler’s Factory Museum and tour of Kazimierz Jewish district or visit John Paul II heritage places). Return ride to Krakow. Time for farewell dinner with our guide at selected restaurant, with tasting dishes according to your choice. An overnight stay at a hotel in Krakow.
Day 10th – Return flight from Krakow airport
Breakfast and check out from your rooms. Transfer to the Krakow airport for your return flight.
