Your group’s arrival to Krakow, transfer to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, an evening city walk along the Old Town. A welcoming dinner in a restaurant and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 2^nd

Breakfast, then a guided tour of Krakow including the Main Market Square, St. Mary’s Basilica and historical trade pavilions of the Cloth Hall. Next, a walk along the Royal Route to Wawel Hill with its renaissance Royal Castle and Cathedral. An optional walk round the Old Jewish Quarter – Kazimierz. Dinner in a regional restaurant with live folk music and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 3^rd

Breakfast. Morning departure to Bratislava – the capital of Slovakia. A guided tour of the Old Town, visit to the Castle, located on 85- meter high hill with beautiful view of the city and Danube. Later this afternoon your depart to Budapest, Hungary. Dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 4^th

Breakfast, then a half-day guided tour of Pest: The Heros’ Square with the Millenium Memorial, Varosliget Park with Vajdahunyad Castle, Opera and St. Stephen Basilica. An afternoon leisure time at the Vaci street famous, for colorful, traditional shops and restaurants. Dinner in regional restaurant with live gipsy music. An overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 5^th 

Breakfast, then the next day of guided tours in Budapest – a tour of Buda with the Castle, Matthias Church, Fishermen’s Bastion. Next, a visit to the Gellert’s Hill with a magnificent view of the city. Transfer to St. Margaret’s Island, a stroll along the “green lungs” of Budapest. At evening dinner and ship cruise with a special program “Budapest by night”. An overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 6^th

Breakfast, then a morning departure to Vienna. Sightseeing tour of the city with a local guide: Ringstrasse, Parliament, Town Hall, St Stephen’s Cathedral. Dinner with live music in one of the famous Grinzing wine cellars. Your overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 7^th 

Breakfast, then guided tour of Vienna entitled “Along the most beautiful palaces and parks” – Hofburg, Schoenbrunn, Belweder. An afternoon departure to Czech Republic. Dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 8^th 

Breakfast, transfer to Prague. Guided tour of the city includes Hradczany – the Prague Castel and St. Vitus’s Cathedral, the Loreto and Golden Lane. An afternoon guided walk along the Old Jewish Quarter with impressive streets, synagogues, cemetery and legends. A visit to the Krizik Singing Fountain later this afternoon. Dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 9^th

Breakfast, then a morning guided tour of the Old Town in Prague. A stroll along the Baroque Charles Bridge over the Vltava River to the Old Town and Main Market. A visit to the Old Town Hall and its tower, famous for a beautiful view of Prague. An afternoon transfer to the Prague airport. Your Central Europe Highlights tour ends.

Tour program

Frederick Chopin music presented in his native country and in his hometown Warsaw. We would like to invite you for the two part concert which is held in one of the two beautiful  Palaces in Warsaw. Chopin’s hits will be played by one of the best pianists, and you will be served with sparkling wine during break. Duration 2 hours; assistance of an English speaking guide.

Day 1^st

Your arrival to  Kraków – Balice airport, where you are welcomed by our local guide. Transfer to the city center for accommodation at a hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, some time to relax or an evening stroll through the Old Town. A welcoming dinner in a local or hotel restaurant and first overnight stay at a hotel during your Poland tour.

Day 2^nd 

Breakfast, then a morning guided tour of Krakow: the Old Town Market Square with St. Mary’s Basilica and pavilions of the Cloth Hall. Breakfast, then a transfer to Wieliczka for a visit to the famous Royal Salt Mine with  numerous underground chambers, chapels and salt sculptures. Next, you depart to Zakopane. Dinner  and  an overnight stay at a hotel or a regional guest house in Zakopane the Tatra Mountains region – one of the worth to see places in Cracow region.

Day 4^th

Breakfast, then a morning half-day tour of the region and Zakopane.  It includes the tour of the city  and a funicular ride up the Gubalówka hill, from which you can admire a full panorama of the  Tatra mountains. Then a visit to the regional market, where you can buy beautiful handicraft products, famous “oscypek” – the regional cheese, and natural mead.  Later this evening you will have a dinner in a regional restaurant, with live folk Highlanders’ music. An overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 5^th

Breakfast, then a half-day of hiking tour along the Koscieliska Valley, with a possible visit in the “Freeze Cave”. Or alternative hiking tour (also with carriages ride possible ) to Morskie Oko, situated in Tatra National Park – a  beautiful lake surrounded by the highest peaks of  the Polish and Slovaquian  Tatra mountains. A farewell dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 6^th

Breakfast, then a morning departure to Wadowice. Visit to the home of Karol Wojtyla and first parish church. Depending on you departure time, a possible visit to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska – a famous Polish pilgrims center, inscribed on the UNESCO world heritage list. An Afternoon transfer to Krakow for your return flight or the next part of your Poland travel.

Day 1^st

Your arrival to Warsaw,  where you are welcomed by our local guide. Transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon you will start the city tour of Warsaw. The capital of Poland was totally destructed in WW II and then rebuilt. You will visit the Old Town, Lazienki Park with Frederic Chopin monument and Palace on the Water, Warsaw Uprising Monument and Royal Castle. A welcome dinner in our hotel in the evening.

Day 2^_nd

After an early morning breakfast, you start your tour to Gdansk, the capital of Poland’s seaside. On the way there you will stop in Malbork to see the medieval fortress of Teutonic Knights – the greatest castle in Poland.  Then we continue the drive to Gdansk. Check-in at a local hotel in the evening. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3^rd

After breakfast the sightseeing tour of the maritime center of Poland begins: historical port town of Gdansk, birthplace and home of Solidarity; Cathedral, Neptune’s Monument, Zuraw Gdanski, the harbor, the monument at Westerplatte. Then you will see Sopot, the health resort with the longest pier in Europe. In the Gothic Cathedral in Oliwa you can listen to a concert on a magnificent baroque pipe organ. Dinner and an overnight stay in the hotel in Gdansk.

Day 4^th

After breakfast, you drive to Torun – one of the most beautiful cities of Poland, picturesquely located on the both banks of the Vistula River. After check-in at a local hotel, you will visit the beautiful Old Town and Museum of the famous Polish astronomer – Nicolas Copernicus. Free evening. An overnight stay in Torun.

Day 5^th

After breakfast, we drive to Poznan with a visit to Gniezno – a historic capital of Poland. A guided city walk, then the departure to Poznan for a dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 6^th

A morning tour around the city of Poznan. Among many famous places, you will see: the impressive Town Hall and the oldest country’s cathedral containing tombs of the first Polish rulers. In the afternoon, you will start a trip to Czestochowa. You can attend an evening mass at the Jasna Gora Monastery in Czestochowa. Dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel in the city.

Day 7^th 

Morning visit to the famous Black Lady – Queen of Poland Sanctuary. The Pauline Fathers will introduce you to the Jasna Góra Monastery, its history (which dates back to 1292), treasures and the miraculous icon of Black Madonna, the Queen of Poland. Next, you will leave Czestochowa and start your drive to Zakopane. On your way, you will stop in Wadowice – John Paul II hometown. Arrival to Zakopane in the evening. Accommodation in your hotel. Dinner and an overnight stay.X

Day 8^th

Morning city tour of Poland’s „winter capital” including Chocholow Village. Cable car ride up to Gubałówka hill, where you will see the panoramic view of the area. An afternoon excursion to Koscieliska Valley will complete our tour. Dinner in the regional restaurant and your overnight stay in Zakopane.

Day 9^th

After breakfast, you will drive to the Pieniny National Park for Dunajec River safe rafting – one of the worth to see Poland highlights. You will be able to enjoy the view of two beautiful castles of Niedzica and Czorsztyn, before you enter the deep gorge surrounded by white limestone peaks. In the evening, some free time to visit Krupowki and enjoy the beauty of the town. Dinner and an overnight stay in Zakopane.

Day 10^th

You leave Zakopane in the morning to visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The 800-years old Wieliczka Salt Mine is the oldest salt mine in Europe, famous for splendid St.Kinga’s Chapel with salt sculptures and relicts, corridors housing the original constructions and the subterranean salt lakes. After the tour, you will continue the drive to Krakow, with a possible stopover in Lagiewniki, where you can visit Lagiewniki Cathedral – Sister Faustyna’s Sanctuary of Divine Mercy. Arrival to in Krakow in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in the city.

Day 11^th

After breakfast you will begin your tour of Krakow, a treasure house of architecture and art since X century. Your walking tour will start on the Wawel Hill with the Royal Castle and Coronation Cathedral, burial place of kings and famous Poles. This tour includes also the Old Town surrounded by defense walls, with Barbican and Market Square dominated by St. Mary’s Church with the famous XV c. linden wood altar.  The additional point of your visit may be the Jagiellonian University, one of the oldest in Europe. Dinner and an overnight stay in your hotel in Krakow.

Day 12^th

After breakfast you depart for trip to Auschwitz – German Nazi concentration camp and now a martyrdom museum. After this tour, you will go back to Krakow to spend the free afternoon in this beautiful old city. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner in our hotel.

Day 13^th

You leave your hotel after breakfast and are driven to the airport for return flight.

An afternoon drive back to Zakopane through picturesque mountains with possible stops in D?bno to visit famous 15th wooden church with rich polychrome, or in Niedzica to admire the beautiful castle with Gothic and Renaissance parts located between two lakes.  Dinner in a regional restaurant with live folk music, an overnight stay at a hotel in Zakopane.

Day 8^th

Breakfast. Departure to the city of Sandomierz – an example of Renaissance architecture in Poland. Your visit includes a walk through the streets of the Old Town, and a visit to the castle and St. Jacob’s Church with the Dominican Monastery. Transfer to Lublin. Dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 9^th

Breakfast. Transfer to Kozłówka, where you can visit  the famous Polish “Museum of Socialism”, with the gallery of the art of socialist realism.  Transfer to Kazimierz Dolny –  a beautifully located old town on the Vistula river banks, known also as a place especially cherished by artists. Guided tour of the town. An afternoon departure for Warsaw. Dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

1. The Old Town included on the UNESCO World Heritage Site List.
2. The Royal Castle with its Square, residence of monarchs from 1596 to 1795, as well as the residence of the Polish President in 1918. There is also a chance to see King Sigismund’s III Column – the first secular monument in Poland.

Breakfast. A whole day rafting trip  with our local guide or a visit in the Osowiec fortification, built by Russians in the XIX century, when Poland was under Russian protection. Next, you will visit the Biebrzanski National Park museum and exhibition. An afternoon farewell dinner and an overnight stay at the eco guest house.

Day 6^th

Breakfast and the departure to Bialystok for direct train to Warsaw. Your return flight or next part of your Poland travel.
