Day 1st
Your arrival to the Berlin airport (possible after your tour in Poland). Transfer by English speaking driver to centrally located hotel in Berlin. Time to relax after your overnight flight.

Day 2nd
Breakfast at your hotel and next your first tour with local guide. During that tour you will see the most important places connected with the Third Reich history in Berlin like: SS & Gestapo Headquarters  The site of Hitler’s Chancellery &old-synagog-ruins-1bunkers, the  Memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe, Goebbels’ Propaganda Ministry Holocaust Memorial, Reichstag, ruins of the Memorial Church, the New Synagogue. Moreover you will visit places connected with the new history (after 1945), but strongly connected with the World War II in Germany like the Berlin Wall, Branderburger Gate. Afternoon time for private walks or visit to the Museums at the Museum Island in Berlin centre. Overnight stay at hotel in Berlin.

Day 3rd
Breakfast and your whole day tour to Potsdam to visit the famous Sanssouci palace and park, listed at the UNESCO World Heritage list. You will visit the palace –  Residence of Germany’s last Kaiser, Wilhelm II, what was used by Churchill (to be replaced by Atlee), Truman and Stalin through the Potsdam Conference. Afternoon return ride to Berlin. Time to relax and an overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4th
Breakfast and your half-day tour to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp located close to Berlin. In that Camp more than 200,000 were imprisoned here by the Nazis of which some 50,000 were brutally murdered. The  Sachsenhausen camp terrible history was continued after 1945, as the Soviet occupiers took it over for a further 5 years to house their political enemies. Afternoon time to private walks, visit to Museums or (suggested) ride up to the famous TV Tower to see Berlin’s panorama.

Day 5th
Breakfast and half-day tour of themed “Cold War in Berlin”. This specially dedicated tour includes places like Checkpoint Charlie, where the Cold War powers formerly faced off just yards apart, the monumental Soviet Embassy, “Ghost Stations” Berlinand the former Guard Towers. Our guide will let you know also how people lived in Berlin between end of WWII and 1993, when the Berlin Wall has been destroyed. Afternoon time for farewell walks, shopping. Overnight stat at hotel.

Day 6th
Breakfast and transfer to the Berlin airport (or to a train station for departure by express train to Warsaw, Poland to take a 2nd tour part).

Day 1st
Your arrival to Warsaw airport or train station. Transfer by our driver to a centrally located hotel. Time to check-in, afternoon half-day, guided tour of Warsaw with a special emphasis on places connected with World War II, like Museum of Polish Martyrdom at former Gestapo headquarters, Pawiak Prison museum, the Old Town – rebuilt after 1945, when Warsaw was destroyed in 90 % . An overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2nd  
Breakfast and second day for tour of Warsaw. On that day you will see the Jewish ghetto area and visit the Warsaw warsaw-ghetto-heroes-1Uprising Museum, and the Museum of History of Polish Jews. After your tour transfer to the Warsaw station and departure by express train to Krakow, where you come after 3 h ride. Our Krakow’s driver meet you at station and transfer to centrally located hotel in Krakow. Time to relax and an overnight stay.

Day 3rd
Breakfast and a whole day dedicated to Krakow and places connected with World War II history. Your tour includes the Wawel Hill (a seat of General Governor at WWII time) – Podgorze (Jewish ghetto area) – visit to Oscar Schindler’s Factory – Museum, and a visit to the Nazi German Camp in Krakow-Płaszow. Later this day time for private walks at the Old Town of Krakow. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4th
Breakfast and a whole day tour  to Auschwitz-Birkenau to visit the German Nazi concentration camp, a martyrdom museum nowadays. You come back to Krakow at afternoon. Time for farewell walks.

Day 5th
Breakfast and transfer by our driver to the Krakow airport for your return flight (or ride by train to Berlin for possible tour extension).

Day 1st
Your arrival to the Krakow airport, where our guide welcomes you. Transfer to a centrally located hotel. Time to check-in and relaxation. 

Day 2nd
Breakfast and  a whole day tour dedicated to Krakow and Wieliczka. First a guided tour of Krakow to visit the most important highlights: the Old Town Market with St. Mary Basilica, the Cloth Hall, walk along Royal Route to the Wawell Hill to visit the Cathedral with Royal Tombs and “Zygmunt” Bell. Lunch and afternoon visit to Wieliczka Salt Mine  the famous Royal Salt Mine, with a numerous underground chambers, chapels and salt sculptures. That place is inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage List as well as the Krakow Old Town. Dinner may be arranged at the underground restaurant in the Salt Mine or at a restaurant in the Old Town of Lancut museumKrakow. Return transfer to your hotel in Krakow centre.

Day 3rd
After breakfast departure to Zakopane, where you come after 2-3 h ride. Guided tour of the city, with visits to the Krupowki promenade, ride up by a cable car to the Gubalowka Hill to see a marvelous panorama  of Tatra mountains. Lunch at restaurant with a beautiful views. Your sightseeing tour of Zakopane includes also Sanctuary in Krzeptowki, samples of wooden architecture called  the “Highlanders style”, the Zakopane ski-jumps complex. Later on that day time to relax and private walks. Dinner at a regional restaurant, serving local dishes and live music by Highlanders band.

Day 4th
Breakfast, and your  whole day dedicated to your walking tour to the Tatry mountains. We can suggest following, famous trails to do:
– walk along beautiful Koscieliska Valley, with a visit to unique “Frosty cave” (easy tour for 4-5 h, walking +car), or:
– walk to Morskie Oko lake, located between the Tatra mountains tops, with beautiful landscapes (mid-hard tour for 7-8 h, walking + ride by carriage + car). Lunch while on the tour.
Later on that day return ride to your hotel in Zakopane. Time to relax, dinner and an overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5th
Breakfast and departure to the Pieniny mountains region. On your way a break to Debno to visit one of the most famous wooden churches located at the “Wooden architecture trail”. Church in Debno was built in XV-th century. Next, your visit to the Niedzica castle located beautifully at the Czorsztyn lakeside. Then you will take a part in an unique experience a raft trip along Dunajec river gorge to Szczawnica, a spa-town. After short break in Szczawnica for lunch and  ride with our guide to Rzeszow.  Check –in at hotel, dinner .

Day 6th
Breakfast and departure to Łańcut. Guided visit to the famous Łańcut Palace one of the most beautiful aristocratic residences in Poland, famous for its excellent interiors and extraordinarily interesting collection of horse-drawn carriages. Next, ride to Tomaszow Lubelski with a break in Sieniawa palace, Jaroslaw – to visit the Old Town or Belzec – Museum located at the German Nazi Concetration camp. Lunch on your way. Later on that day check-in at hotel in Tomaszow Lubleski. Dinner and an overnight stay at Zamosc Old Townhotel.

Day 7th   
After breakfast  departure to Zamosc and a half-day tour will local guide. The tour includes visit to the Old Town Market with famous City Hall, tenement houses , Zamoyski Palace, Synagogue, part of the old defense city walls. Lunch at restaurant at the Old Town. Afternoon visit to the Roztoczanski National Park, located not far away from Zamość. Later on that day return ride to Zamość for your overnight stay at hotel. Dinner.
 
Day 8th
After breakfast departure with our guide-driver to Sandomierz. On your way possible stop in Janów Lubelski for a visit at a horse farm. Then you will come at early afternoon time to Sandomierz. Lunch and check-in at hotel. Afternoon, a half-day tour of the city with local guide.  Dinner and an overnight stay at hotel in Sandomierz.

Day 9th
Breakfast at hotel.  Departure to Baranów Sandomierski, short visit to the castle, built in XVI the century, called “Little Wawel castle” (Wawel in Krakow). Next, a ride towards Krakow, with a break in Zalipie, small village famous for colorful, painted  cottages. Visit to local museum, located at one of the houses. Lunch on your way. Day 10th

Day 4th
Breakfast and check-out from Kliczkow castle. Departure,  with our guide-driver, to Jawor and Swidnica, where you will visit the unique wooden Churches of Peace, listed at the UNESCO World Heritage List. On your way short break at the Książ castle – famous as a one of the possible Hitler’s headquarters. Later on that day you come to Polanica – Zdrój. Check-in at a hotel . Day 5th
Breakfast, and whole day dedicated to visits to the most famous spa-towns in Klodzka Valley: Polanica-Zdrój, Duszniki – Zdrój, and Kudowa – Zdroj. Day 6th
After breakfast check-out from your hotel. Departure with our guide-driver to Klodzko – a capital of the region. Guided tour of the city, with entry to the Fortress and the Underground Tourist Route. Time to relax at the Klodzko Old Town market. Next, ride to Wrocław, with possible short stop in Bardo – one of the most famous sanctuary in Lower Silesia region. On your way to Wroclaw you will pass also Ślęża mountain – a holly place of the heathen tribes in VII-th century wroclaw-cathedral-1B.C. Picking Amber along the Baltic Seaside

Day 1st
Your arrival to Szczecin (Berlin or Poznan airport), where you are welcomed by our local guide-driver. Transfer to your hotel for accommodation. An evening stroll through the Old Town with a welcoming dinner in a regional  restaurant. The first overnight stay at a hotel during your Poland tour.

Day 2nd
Breakfast, then a morning guided tour of Szczecin: Old Market Square with Town Hall and Loitz family house. Your tour includes also walk along the Maiden’s Tower, the Cathedral of St. James and the impressive  Castle of the Pomeranian Princes. Afternoon departure to  Miedzyzdroje – the most known Polish sea SPA at the Polish Baltic seaside, taking advantage of springs of saline water. You will see  one of the city’s attraction, the “alley of stars” with the imprints of famous Polish peoples’ hands.  Dinner in a restaurant, an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 3rd
Breakfast, then the departure from Miedzyzdroje to Slupsk, with possible stops in interesting places such as Dziwnow,  Trzesacz or Kolobrzeg, which is a well-known seaside resort with a crowded promenade. Dziwnow – a nice and small holiday resort and a fishing village; Trzesacz – a small resort with the ruins of a Gothic church situated on a high cliff (only a small fragment of the building’s wall remains from the original brick church 15th c.). Dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel in Ustka.

Day 4th
Breakfast, then a morning trip to Leba and a visit to the Slowinski National Park. A guided tour with a  visit in the Museum and the Park, where you can admire the unique moving sand dunes – one of the highest in Europe. An afternoon departure to Gdansk for a dinner Sopot wooden pierand an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 5th
Breakfast. Next a guided tour of Gdansk: the Golden Gateway, Neptune’s Fountain,  Artus Court and Dluga Street; the wooden Crane on the Motlava River and the Solidarity Monument at the Gdansk Shipyard, the birthplace of the Solidarity movement. Gdansk Old Town is also a good place for amber lovers – many local shops give the opportunity to see and buy amber, gold and silver jewellery.   Next, you will visit  Oliwa, famous for the Oliwa catherdal and organ music concert. An optional afternoon visit to Sopot – a seaside resort, famous for the longest wooden pier in Europe. Dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel in Gdansk.

Day 6th
Breakfast. Transfer to Malbork and its most important monument – the Malbork Castle – the former residence of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights, now the largest brick, medieval castle in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. An afternoon transfer to Torun, with a dinner and an overnight in a hotel in Torun.

Day 7th
Breakfast, then a morning guided tour of Torun. Your tour includes the House of Nicolas Copernicus and Town Hall, St. Mary’s and St. John’s Church and the ruins of the Teutonic Knights Castle. Day 2nd
Breakfast and a whole day tour of Warsaw, with visit to the Łazienki Garden for a guided walk to the Palace and the Frederick Chopin’s  monument. Short break for your lunch.  Next a second part of your tour including Old Town, beautifully rebuilt after World War II, with the impressive Royal Castle, seat of the kings of Poland. Day 3rd
Breakfast and departure South, across Poland, to Zakopane – one of the most popular vacation resorts in the Tatra Mountains. En route, we stop in Czestochowa to visit the Jasna Gora Monastery and the Black Madonna Shrine with its miraculous icon. The tour will be conducted by a local, monastery monk. Break for your lunch. Continuation of your ride in Southern direction. In an early evening we arrive in Zakopane, beautifully situated at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, in the valley between Gubalowka and Giewont. It is the most popular resort in Poland and one of the most beautiful places in all of Poland, owing to its picturesque location. Dinner and an overnight stay at hotel in Zakopane. (B,D)

Day 4th
Breakfast and private sightseeing tour of Zakopane, whose wooden architecture blends with the natural landscapes. Copied in other zakopane-3parts of Poland, it is known as Zakopianski Style. You will visit the Jaszczurowka Chapel, a great example of the wooden architecture in Zakopane, and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima at Krzeptowki, which was built by the people of Zakopane to thank the Lady of Fatima for saving the John Paul II Pope’ after an attempt on His life. Next, admire the breathtaking views of the Tatras from the top of Gubalowka Mountain and shop for souvenirs of arts and crafts of the Highlanders (Gorale) in the local shops. Lunch on your own and free time. Tonight’s dinner will be served at a typical Highlanders’ inn with a live music show. (B,D)

Day 5th
After breakfast, spend a relaxing day on your own and take a spectacular rafting trip on the Dunajec River in Pieniny National Park. On your way to Pieniny Park stop in Niedzica, famous for its XIV century castle and lake. Your raft trip will end in Szczawnica-Zdrój, one of the famous Polish spa. Break for your lunch with possible option to visit to the spa house to taste famous and healthy spring water. In the afternoon, we leave for the medieval city of Krakow, with possible break in Debno – small village on the “Wooden architecture trail”, where you visit st. Michael church, dated on XV century. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Krakow center.(B,D)

Day 6th
Breakfast at hotel and sightseeing tour will feature Wawel the Royal Castle, home to three dynasties of Poland’s monarchs. Its stately halls and exquisite chambers are filled with priceless art, valuable period furniture and rare ancient objects. The collection of monumental 16th century tapestries is matchless. You will also visit Wawel Cathedral, the place of the cult of St. Stanislaw and of St. Jadwiga, Queen of Poland. This 18 chapels are true architectural masterpieces. The giant bell, Zygmunt from 1520 ranks with the world’s largest. This is the place where Polish kings were crowned and buried. Short break for your lunch of coffee and your visit at the Old Town with its restored Main Square of magnificent houses and palaces. There, you will stop at St. Mary’s Basilica to see the magnificent wooden altar by Wit Stwosz. In the middle of the square is Cloth Hall built before 1349, but renovated in the 16th century Jasna_Gora sanctuary in Czestochowawith many shopping stalls inside. The afternoon time for relaxation or visit to the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine – listed at the UNESCO World Heritage List (extra charge USD 65/person).  Dinner will be served at a local restaurant in Old Town. Day 7th
Breakfast your ride to Auschwitz, on your way possible break in Wadowice –the hometown of John Paul II (Museum and Basilica when he was baptized). Later on your visit to the former Nazi Concentration Camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, the infamous death factory. Today, a Museum, it is a silent witness to human tragedy. Your tour with local, museum guide. Return ride to Krakow. Time and dinner on your own. An overnight stay ay hotel in Krakow. (B)

Day 8th
After breakfast you leave Krakow, going to Northern part of Poland. On the way you pass the Poland’s “Eagles Nests Trail”, famous for a number of Medieval castles and palaces. Short break to visit the Ogrodzieniec castle, called “the most beautiful ruins” in Poland, partly restored by now. Your ride to Lodz a large city called “Polish Manchester” due to long industrial traditions from XIX century, revitalized now. Check in at hotel and guided tour of the city and most famous places. Dinner on your own today. (B)

Day 9th
After breakfast this morning, departure to Gdansk. On your way a break at Lowicz, a typical Mazovian town famous for folk art, especially noteworthy are the colorful costumes and beautiful paper cut-outs. Visit to the local museum.  Next your ride to Torun – the city of Nicolas Copernicus – famous Polish astronomer. Guided walk along the Old Town street with visit to the Museum – Copernicus’s home, Crooked Tower, and tasting local famous Gingerbread. You come to Gdansk at evening time, check-in at a hotel, dinner at hotel. (B,D)

Day 10th
Breakfast and guided tour of Gdansk Old Town: the st. Mary Basilica, Neptun Monument, Zuraw Gdanski, the harbor, and the “Monument of the Fallen Shipyard Workers”. Next, a visit to the monument at Westerplatte, where the WW II has begun. In the Gothic Cathedral in Oliwa you can listen to a concert on a baroque pipe organ. Next, time for lunch and visit to Sopot – famous Polish spa at the Baltic seaside, famous also for the longest wooden pier in Europe. Dinner or lunch at one of the famous “Fisherman’s restaurant”, with local dishes. Overnight at the hotel in Gdansk. (B,D)

Day 11th
Breakfast and departure to Malbork for guided tour of the medieval fortress of Teutonic Knights – the largest brick castle in Europe. The Malbork Castle, a 15th c. powerful stronghold of the Teutonic Knights, is one of the best examples of medieval fortification in Europe. Then return ride to Warsaw, with possible stop in Grunwald – a place of the largest battle in Medieval ages or an open air Museum in Olsztynek, presenting wooden architecture from XVIII-XX century. You come to Warsaw at early evening time. Dinner and an overnight stay at hotel. (B,D)

Day 12th
Breakfast and transfer to the Warsaw airport for return flight. Your tour across Poland ends. (B)

Day 1st

Your arrival in Krakow, where our driver meets you. Transfer to our hotel to check-in. Short city walk with our guide if time allows.  Overnight in Krakow.

Day 2nd
Breakfast, morning guided tour around the Old Town of Krakow to see its unique and preserved architecture and to get some basic information about architecture styles in Poland. Short break for your lunch. Next, you visit to a perfect example of the Stalinist economic dream, the Nowa Huta quarter. This complex was placed by the authorities to create a healthy working class and industrial injection to a city that had strong cultural and aristocratic traditions. Visit to the Museum of Communism, opened in Nowa Huta in 2001, where you can experience Communism, and feel the atmosphere of thenowa_huta_plac_centralny past. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.

Day 3rd
After breakfast, departure with our tour guide to the town of Zamość. On your way you will visit the fortified baroque castle in Nowy Wiśnicz, where a group of union leaders and opposition activists were interned in the early 1980s. Later on that day you will arrive at Zamość, the “Renaissance Jewel”, placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Short guided tour of the town, dinner and overnight at your hotel in Zamość.

Day 4th
Breakfast, and departure to Warsaw. On your way break in Kozłówka, famous for the former baroque palace at Kozłówka and its unique collection of socialist art. The collection includes sculptures of Lenin, Stalin and Marx, over 1500 paintings, drawings and graphics depicting everyday scenes from communist life. You come to Warsaw later on that day. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 5th
After breakfast our local guide will introduce you with a history of Warsaw, especially the second part of XX-th century. As Warsaw was destroyed in 90 % after II World War time, most of all Warsaw’s houses built after ‘45 and before ‘89 represents socialistic architecture style. One of the best examples, and symbols of that era is the Palace of Culture and Science, a monolithic Stalinist, called a “wedding cake”. You visit its interiors, with a extra ride up by a lift to see the widest Warsaw’s panorama. Next, a visit to the Church of St Stanislaw Kostka, a centre for Polish pilgrims, who come to visit the tomb of priest Jerzy Popiełuszko, murdered by Communist security agents in 1984. Dinner in climatic Oberża pod Czerwonym Wieprzem (“the Inn Under The Red Hog”), and an overnight at your hotel in Warsaw.

Day 6th
Breakfast and your ride, with our guide-driver, north to Gdańsk. You can select one of the two optional places to visit on the way. First option is a guided Gdansk_Old Towntour of the Malbork castle – the medieval fortress of Teutonic Knights – the greatest castle in Poland. Another option is your break in Toruń, the birthplace of Nicholas Copernicus, famous also for local gingerbread cakes and Crooked tower at the Old Town. Later on that day you will arrive to Gdansk. Dinner and an overnight at hotel in Gdańsk.

Day 7th
After your breakfast, guided tour of  Gdańsk – famous as the birthplace of the independent trade union “Solidarity”, formed in 1980 as a result of strikes in the “Lenin Shipyards”.  Your tour includes also visit to the Shipyards & Solidarity Monument and Westerplatte Penisula.  Time to relax at the Gdansk Old Town, next farewell dinner, and an overnight at your hotel in Gdańsk.

Day 8th
Breakfast and check-out from your hotel. Transfer to the Gdansk airport or return ride to Warsaw, with our tour guide.

Day 1st
Your arrival to Warsaw airport and private transfer  by our driver to the hotel in Warsaw centre. Time to relax.

Day 2nd
Breakfast and a whole day guided tour of Warsaw, including visit to the Old Town with Royal Castle, Łazienki Garden and Palace, Modern City, and a previous Jewish district area.  An overnight at a hotel.

Day 3rd
After breakfast departure with our guide-driver to Krakow. Break in Czestochowa to visit the famous Jasna Gora monastery. Later on that day you come to Krakow. Check-in at a hotel and dinner.

Day 4th
Breakfast,  and a morning tour of Wieliczka Salt Mine. Next, w guided tour of Krakow Old Town and the Wawel Hill, famous for Royal Castle and Cathedral with Poland’s Kings tombs. Dinner.Kazimierz Dolny Old Town Market

Day 5th
After breakfast ride to Zalipie village – famous for colorfull, painted wooden houses. Visit to the Museum. Departeure to nearby Baranow Sandomierski. Dinner and overnight stay at castle – hotel in Baranow Sandomierski.

Day 6th
Breakfast,  and depart to Sandomierz. Half-day guided tour by a local guide, with visit to the Old Town, church and castle. Next rie to Kazimierz Dolny. Night at hotel.

Day 7th
Breakfast and a half-day guided tour of Kazimierz Dolny called “city of artists”. Next, ride to Białowieża. Dinner and an overnight  at hotel .

Day 8th
Breakfast, and a  half–day guided tour of Białowieza National Park, with a visit to the Bison reserve, the Strict Reserve and Museum. Afternoon some extra time for you. Dinner and an overnight at hotel in Bialowieza.

Day 9th
Breakfast and departure to the Northern part of Poland, famous of Medieval castles, lakes and forests. On your way to Olsztyn on that day you will pass and see the Biebrzanski National Park, Mikołajki  – the “ sailing capital” of Masuria region, some castles built by Teutonic Order. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Olsztyn.

Day 10th 
Breakfast and ride to Olsztynek to visit the open air museum, presenting the old Polish architecture. Next, visit to Grunwald – place of the famous, mazury-lake-1Medieval battle in 1410. Visit to the Museum. Afternoon ride to Ostróda for your dinner and overnight.

Day 11th
Breakfast and departure to Malbork. On the way you will pass the famous Ostroda-Elbląg canal, with a possibility to take a part is this unique cruise. Afternoon visit to the Malbork castle with a local, museum guide. Dinner and overnight at hotel located in the castle.

Day 12th
After breakfast departure to Gdansk, where you come after 1 h ride. Guided tour of Gdansk Old Town and Oliwa cathedral for famous pipe organ concert.  Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Gdansk.

Day 13th
Breakfast and another day dedicated  to the Baltic seaside. I suggest to take a cruise to the Hel – small city located at the Hel Peninsula, or spend a day in Sopot – most famous Polish seaside spa. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Gdansk.

Day 14th
Breakfast, and departure to Torun. On your way a short visit to the famous gothic cathedral in Pelplin. You come to Torun at early afternoon. Guided tour of the town, famous as the Nicolas  Copernicus city. Visit to the Copernicus Museum, Crooked Tower and  Town Hall. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Torun.

Day 15th
After breakfast return ride to Warsaw. On your way a short stop in Zelazowa Wola to visit the Frederick Chopin Museum, located at a home, where he warsaw-3was born. Later on that day you come back to Warsaw. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 16th
After breakfast transfer to the Warsaw airport for your return flight. Your grand tour of Poland ends.
